I want to help you understand more about your dog’s behaviour, what’s achievable for your specific situation & what it’ll take to get to a point you’re happy with. Then support you in applying my guidance!
From my experience, it’s much easier to help your pet when you’ve got someone to turn to & that’s why I always encourage you to take up ongoing support.
You have the option to contact me using Voxer, a free walkie talkie app. This means you can get in touch and ask those niggling questions, get reassurance that you’re making progress, ask for feedback, or just have somewhere non judgemental to vent how you’re feeling about your pet.
You’ll also have priority for ongoing support & sessions with me if you choose…
Vet referral will be required for any services which aim to address behaviour problems which have already established.
Vet referral is a really easy process. I’ll ask you to get in touch with your vets & request that they sign my referral form. This way I can keep your vets in the loop & chat to them about your case if necessary.
Why might I need to liaise with your vet?…. well, a dog’s health can affect their behaviour, so to it’s important that I’m aware of their vet history & any health conditions so I can help you best. In some cases, behaviour can also be an indicator of pain, so it’s important for vets & behaviourists to work together to help you achieve the best results!

I'm both a registered Animal Training Instructor (ATI) & Clinical Animal Behaviourist (CAB) with the Animal Behaviour & Training Council (ABTC). I'm also a full member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC), a Candidate member of the Fellowship of Animal Behaviour Clinicians (FABC) & a full member of the Professional Association of Canine Trainers (PACT).
That's a huge amount of acronyms, I know!
Basically, being a member of these organisations means that I work under a professional code of conduct & have been thoroughly assessed in my knowledge of dog behaviour & ability to help people with their dogs.
I can guarantee you my support, my expertise & help in working towards the best long term outcome for you & your dog.
Unfortunately, behaviour is complex. There really isn't a one size fits all approach to behaviour change, quick fixes are unlikely and there are no guarantees.
My ethos is all about helping people to understand their dog's behaviour and work to achieve long lasing results. If you understand the process, you're much more likely to be able to support your dog in changing their behaviour.
Realistically, (despite what the TV and social media can make us believe!) there isn't usually a straight path towards behaviour change. So, I really want you to feel supported & like you can come to me when you have both ups and downs in your training & behaviour change journey.

Behaviour support works just the same if you visit me, or if we work remotely via video call.
In fact, sometimes this makes the process much easier, because you can really focus on the session & don't need to worry about what your dog's doing.
You don't need to worry that I haven't seen your pet showing their problem behaviour. I'll know what you mean when you describe it & I'll ask you for videos where it's helpful to see something.
Often, people see much better results when they can really focus on the process and guidance, before working with their pet.
You'll have the guidance you need & ongoing support, so there's plenty of time to get your head around things first.
