It simply involves asking your vet to complete a form & return it to me.
What’s the purpose of vet referral? Well… cat behaviour can be influenced by their overall health, so referral means I can communicate with your vet if required & means everyone is on the same page going forwards… giving you the best support possible!

I'm both a registered Animal Training Instructor (ATI) & Clinical Animal Behaviourist (CAB) with the Animal Behaviour & Training Council (ABTC). I'm also a full member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC) & a Candidate member of the Fellowship of Animal Behaviour Clinicians (FABC).
What do all these accreditations mean?
They mean that I've been assessed about my understanding of cat behaviour & I follow a professional code of conduct within my practice.
I would love to be able to guarantee this, but behaviour can be complex and results are individual.
Cat behaviour is complex & it's not always a straight path to achieving behaviour change.
What I can guarantee is my support in helping you get to the bottom of the behaviour & working through an achievable, educated plan aimed at meeting your goals.

Yes! We can work together using video call. I can offer just the same service & support no matter where you are in the UK.
Video call can offer lots of benefits. For example, you don't need to worry about having someone come to your home and neither does your cat.
Video content offers a great way to assess behaviour, because the cat isn't influenced by having someone strange present. You can gather this footage beforehand and then focus your attention on our session and talking things through.
Ongoing support means you can also come back to me afterwards when you need to with videos, or further information.
The key to getting the results you want is having someone on hand to give you educated guidance and support you in implementing strategies to get that much needed change!
